Historic Home Plaque Requirements
1. The home must have been built before 1940. 2. The home must be in its original configuration. (Modern additions and/or improvements to the exterior will be considered.) 3. A complete description of the home and architectural style must be provided. 4. The homeowner must pay the cost of the plaque and have it installed. 5. Unique features of the home (trim,interior and exterior moldings, windows, etc) may be noted and detail photos provided. Interior photos are at the discretion ion of the home owner. 6. All photos and copies of documents become the property of the Charter Township of Clinton Historical Commission. 7. A history of persons of note who now live in or have lived in the house may be included. A description of what the surroundings were like when the home was built, and how they have changed over the years, would be appreciated. 8.
