The north side

Canal Road is to the left. The Clintono and Kalamazoo runs along side of the arboretum. These mainly sugar maples and create a dense shade. No tax money supports the arboretum. People adopt a tree and the money is used ot purchase more native trees from Wildtype Farms in Mason Michigan. Many of the pines came from Dultz Farms in Macomb Township.
