My father, Irving C. Kerner is standing in the doorway next to the lady (teacher???) I cannot identify anyone else in the photo. My father was born Sept 24, 1920 and to me he looks to be about 10 or 11 years old. If this is the case then I might have a clue to who the lady is in the doorway- perhaps Mrs. Hazel Jones, teacher. I suspect this as I also have my fathers report card from May 1931 and her signature is on the report. I can scan this document and all of its pages if you think it will be of historical value. I have also discovered that my father attended school district number 2 until he graduated to the 9th grade where he attended Mt. Clemens High School on Cass Ave in town.
