Pergola August 6 2011

Taken 2011-08-06 13:41:44-07

This pergola was made out of the frames from the Mount Clemens Rose Garden. The Festival of the Senses paid for the wood, the Greater Clinton Township Historical Society paid for the labor and the cement work. The Society money came from the donations that were raised to move the Clinton Grove House to the Historical Village. That move never happened and the house was torn down.

Eventually it will be covered with climbing plants and adorned with flowers. Maybe garden weddings will be held in it.
