The Kerner Settlement was a small collection of houses built on raised platforms along the Clinton River. Some maps show Kerner Road going into a circle near the river. There are stories about how rowboats were tied up to the houses, and in times of flood, the occupants would row over to their cars parked on Clinton River Road. If anyone knows more about this, please contact the web master.
